What's New
What's New with My Site?
well the elections over and the straight party ticket won the job. I want to thank all those who supported me in my efforts to make Parker county better than what it is, we can all do better. Those who have the ability to act also have the responisibilty to act. Back to Springtown.
What's New ? Still walking with Jesus and I said I"ll be back" I'm back running for Mayor of Springtown 2011
The fight goes on, after a short break. Breaks over.
5/16/2011- How can a person work so hard on something for years, live right, and always do what's expected of him and get beat so bad. We hardly ever get what we deserve. My prediction for the future of the citizens of Springtown. be careful what you ask for you just might get it. Higher taxes, higher water bills. This is unavoidable don't let anybody tell you different. the city council is about to borrow $5million for our waste-water treatment plant. to mention the $5 million we have already borrowed to go for the water and waste-water plants and all the new roads we are all driving on. How are we going to pay that back? No new commercial business and no cutbacks at city hall means higher taxes, fines ,fees , water and sewer bills. This can't be helped this is how cities raise money and pay their bills and provide the services you expect. This also means less money in your pocket, less dinners out , $4 gasoline, less money for your family, less money for the church offering pate, fewer cruises and more people moving just outside the city limits and congregating in town. This effects everyone financially except those who live outside the city. This is simple economics, but what do i know? What are we going to do? Any bright ideas?
